ROC Nijmegen: “RIF scaling up, The Technical Future”

The PPP aims to take steps toward a future-proof ecosystem with a focus on educational quality and professional practice. Key new challenges for the joint training programs of the PPP relate to individual learning and development needs. Both the changing needs of students and the industry call for: interdisciplinary education, flexibility, modularization, and a focus on digitalization. These focal points contribute to aligning education with the labor market.

For these developments, the RIF grant was once again utilized. The consultants from Ignite Group guided the PPP throughout the application drafting process. Submitting the application resulted in a grant of €1,529,350. With this grant, the PPP will work on the following over the next four years:

• The establishment of a learning community as an accelerator of renewal and innovation.
• Flexible, modular, and interdisciplinary education for ten programs.
• Workplace learning – a new form of education.
• A continuous learning pathway from entry level to level 2.
• The further development of the Technical Project Coordinator program.
