The project in detail

The solution helps medical professionals make better-informed decisions in wound care and improve treatment processes.

cureVision works in medical technology and digital health and develops intelligent diagnostic solutions for wound management.

The company’s technology uses artificial intelligence and sensor-based imaging to analyse chronic wounds quickly and precisely. The resulting data is then made available to medical professionals and supports them in assessing wounds and planning suitable treatments. With this data-driven approach, cureVision helps make the diagnosis and care of chronic wounds more efficient and more precise.

As an innovative start-up in medical technology, cureVision needs continuous investment to develop and validate its technology. The goal was to identify suitable funding programmes able to support both research and development activities and the further development of the AI-based wound analysis.

Selecting the right funding programmes and aligning your own innovation projects with the requirements of public funding bodies is, however, often complex and time-consuming. cureVision therefore needed support in identifying suitable programmes and in structuring its technological innovation for successful funding applications

As part of this collaboration, several EU funding applications and the German Forschungszulage were delivered successfully. The funding secured allows cureVision to develop its technology further and to advance innovation in digital wound diagnostics.

The collaboration between cureVision and the Ignite Group is marked by close coordination and a shared understanding of innovation. Combining cureVision’s technological expertise with Ignite’s funding expertise secured important financial resources and accelerated the further development of the technology.

Both partners plan to deliver further projects together in the future and to advance innovative solutions that sustainably improve healthcare.

  1. The collaboration between cureVision and the Ignite Group began in 2021 with a comprehensive analysis of potential funding opportunities.

  2. In a joint workshop, the funding programmes that strategically fit cureVision’s innovation projects best were identified first.

  3. Ignite then supported the company in matching its projects to the requirements of the respective funding programmes. In doing so, the technological innovations and the diagnostic value of the solution were presented precisely in the funding applications.

  4. As part of this collaboration, several EU funding applications and the German Forschungszulage were delivered successfully. The funding secured allows cureVision to develop its technology further and to advance innovation in digital wound diagnostics.
