Consultant
As a consultant, Daan sits between the companies applying for funding and the specialists who assess the applications. One week he is with a multinational planning a sustainable investment; the next, on a family farm looking at a machine someone built themselves.
The range keeps it interesting: mechanical and electrical engineering, industrial design, food and chemical technology. Ignite gives him the room to plan his own week and specialise in the schemes and sectors he finds most interesting.

New Business Account Manager
Chris brings in new business with real freedom to shape his own approach: his own sales strategy, clear targets, and new parts of the market to open up.
The conversations run from startup founders to the CFOs of multinationals. He describes the culture as pragmatic and open, built on taking ownership and bringing your own ideas.
Rik &Anouk
Consultants
Rik and Anouk graduated in 2020 and joined in 2021, mid-pandemic. A tricky moment to start, but they remember it well: approachable colleagues, newcomer lunches, and a real push to look after yourself while working from home.
In their first year they worked across every kind of sector, from vegetarian food development to high-tech robotics. Senior colleagues mentored them closely, and Ignite kept investing in training throughout: European funding, investment frameworks, consultative selling.
