Grants rarely fail on substance. They fail on the process around them: a deadline that sat with the wrong person, a document nobody could find, a reporting moment noticed too late. That happens above all in organisations running several grants at once, where deadlines and evidence sit with different people. Everyone does their part, but nobody holds the whole.

Core functionality
Security
SAS runs over an SSL connection with encrypted backups and is ISO 27001 certified. For access you choose between single sign-on and two-factor authentication.
That is distinct from the ISO 9001 certification of our working processes. The first covers information security in the system, the second the quality of our service delivery.
Who it is for
SAS is built for organisations running several incoming grants at once. In practice those are mostly municipalities, public bodies, research institutes and education providers, but the system suits any grant type and any kind of organisation.
If you award funding rather than receive it, SAS is not the right system. Incoming and outgoing grants require a different setup.
