SAS: control over all your incoming grants

Do you know how many separate funding streams are running inside your organisation? How many of them are European? And which reporting moments are coming up?

The problem is rarely that the information is missing. It simply is not held centrally. The moment someone asks for management information, the digging starts.

System for incoming grants

The Grant Administration System, SAS for short, is a web-based system that gives your organisation control over the entire process around all your incoming grants. Applied for, awarded, running and finalised: you see the status at a glance, and management information is available at any moment.

Where it goes wrong in practice

What SAS does

The core of the system is not the archive but the task. SAS assigns tasks with deadlines to the people working on the project and tracks whether they are completed in time.

Full overview

All incoming funding streams, documents and deadlines on one dashboard. At a glance you see which projects are running, which deadlines are approaching and where action is needed.

Documents in one place

Secure storage of all files, linked to the project they belong to.

Connected to the funding database

Schemes and programmes come in directly through the link with the Vindsubsidies.nl database, so nothing has to be retyped.

Tasks and reminders

Assign tasks to colleagues, work on projects together and keep everyone informed through automatic notifications. Task emails are sent from an address you configure yourself.

Smart reporting

Build your own reports and export them to Excel. Management information stays current and within reach.

Dynamic fields and categories

Add your own fields and categories so the system grows with your organisation.

Security

That is distinct from the ISO 9001 certification of our working processes. The first covers information security in the system, the second the quality of our service delivery.

Who it is for

If you award funding rather than receive it, SAS is not the right system. Incoming and outgoing grants require a different setup.

Why Ignite Group

Personal Strategy Call

SAS was built from both the funding practice and the technology. You notice the difference in how it is laid out: the system follows the logic of a funding process rather than that of a generic document management tool. Ignite Group has supported companies, organisations, research institutes and public bodies for more than 25 years in finding funding, writing and submitting applications, handling administrative reporting, and project and programme management.

SAS does not require a lengthy implementation project. A short introduction of around two hours is enough for most organisations to get going. Configuring fields and categories you then do yourself, as you discover what you need.
