QLero. Funding as a mark of quality for a young AI platform.

With the development of the “MAIkit” platform, the company aims to make using AI in everyday work considerably simpler and to help companies use their own data more efficiently.

QLero was founded by Martin Ulbricht and Moritz von Kaiser and develops AI-based software solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The company’s focus is on designing AI applications so that they can be used without specialist technical knowledge. Many existing AI tools assume that users know exactly how to phrase their requests. QLero therefore aims to lower this hurdle and to give companies an intuitive way to use their internal data and knowledge sources with the help of AI.

QLero planned to develop a new AI platform tailored specifically to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. Many companies find existing AI chat tools complicated or frustrating, because they do not always deliver the expected results.

With “MAIkit”, QLero therefore developed a platform that can integrate company context through interfaces to email systems or internal data stores, for example. On that basis, the AI is intended to provide proactive support without users having to formulate complex prompts.

Developing such a technology, however, involves considerable investment. Because there are hardly any existing reference systems for this kind of solution, QLero had to build much of the technological base itself. At the same time, it was important for the company to secure additional financial support in order to advance the development.

With Ignite’s support, QLero was able to deliver the funding process successfully and to drive the further development of its MAIkit AI platform.

The collaboration between QLero and Ignite shows how important specialist funding advisory can be for innovative technology projects.
