Ralph van Mechelen holds a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, followed by a successful PhD at the University Eye Clinic in Maastricht. During this period, he conducted extensive research on wound healing after surgical procedures and developed innovative biomedical implants to effectively mitigate subsequent fibrotic reactions.

With a broad scientific background in fields such as ophthalmology, neuroscience, developmental biology, pediatrics, and laboratory animal science, Ralph has gained valuable expertise. As a consultant, he is passionate about engaging in various subjects and making a meaningful contribution to innovative research.
