Dr. Marco Nesarajah has developed steadily since joining Ignite Group Germany in 2017 and is now a key member of the company as Senior Manager and Team Leader for ZIM & national funding programs. With a PhD in Mechatronics from Saarland University, which he obtained in 2017, he brings in-depth technical expertise in the fields of mechatronics, energy harvesting systems, and thermoelectrics.

His career at Ignite Group began as a national consultant, where he demonstrated his skills in methodological innovation consulting and project management for research and development projects (ZIM, FZul, ZTS, WIPANO, PFAU, computer game funding, etc.). Thanks to his outstanding performance and commitment, he quickly rose to the position of Senior Consultant, where he made a significant contribution to the active design of quality management processes and quality assurance in accordance with DIN ISO 9001. He then took on the role of Manager, where he established new processes and took over the coordination of various subject areas. Today, as Senior Manager, he is active in several strategic steering committees within the company, serves as a contact person for managers throughout the company, and successfully leads the team for national funding programs.

His continuous professional development, including qualification as a quality manager in 2024, underscores his commitment to excellence and his ability to master complex technical challenges.
