As a consultant at Ignite Group, Daan is part of Team Publiek and works for municipalities and provinces. Daan studied Communication and Information Sciences at Utrecht University (BSc in 2021) and followed the minor Public Administration and Organization Sciences. In this direction, he eventually also completed the master’s degree in Communication, Policy & Management (MSc in 2022).

Daan is a driven consultant with extensive experience in supporting organizations in acquiring, providing and managing subsidies. He has a strong focus on optimizing subsidy processes, applying for subsidies and assessing and awarding subsidy applications. With a solid knowledge of provincial, national and European subsidy schemes, Daan knows how to effectively contribute to the realization of project goals and the promotion of sustainable development. His analytical skills and results-oriented approach enable him to understand complex subsidy processes and facilitate successful applications.
