As a consultant at Ignite Group, Daan is part of the Public Team. He works with various entities such as government agencies, municipalities, and SMEs. He studied Communication and Information Sciences at Utrecht University, earning his BSc in 2021, and completed a minor in Public Administration and Organizational Sciences. He continued with a master’s degree in Communication, Policy & Management (MSc) in 2022.

With his background in communication studies, Daan has further developed his skills in writing and communication. His education in public administration has provided him with insights into the crucial role of communication in policy-making. This knowledge, combined with his experience in writing numerous advisory and research reports, supports him in his current role as a consultant for the public sector. Additionally, his studies covered developments in politics and government, such as sustainability and networking, which align well with his work as a subsidy advisor. Coupled with his societal engagement, he assists public organizations in realizing their projects and policies.
