MIT R&D stands for SME Innovation Stimulation Top Sectors R&D. An MIT R&D collaboration project consists of industrial research, experimental development, or a combination of both. These projects must focus on the development or innovation of products, production processes and/or services. The grant is awarded on the basis of quality control (Tender). For regular projects, a minimum grant of €50,000 and a maximum of €200,000 applies. The maximum grant for large R&D projects is €350,000 per project (€175,000 per partner).
Did you know that you can also apply for a grant for a feasibility project? This allows you to map the technical and economic risks of an innovation project. This instrument is called the MIT-feasibility study. We can of course help you with this too.
