Nanny Bressers has extensive knowledge and experience with projects related to nature, energy, environment, and water. She earned her degree in Political Science (International Relations) from the University of Amsterdam (2006) and completed her PhD in Public Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam (2011). Her expertise includes innovation processes, public-private and tripartite collaboration, and the effective implementation of innovative ideas and products.

Involved in Numerous Major Projects and European Programs

Nanny has been involved in numerous large projects and programs, such as Life with Water, Room for the River, Water Framework Haaglanden, and several municipal projects in and around Rotterdam. Additionally, she worked as a project leader at Waterschap Vechtstromen, managing an Interreg NWE project. At Ignite Group, Nanny is part of the NL-EU Team.

In 2011, Nanny completed her PhD at the Faculty of Public Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, focusing on „Evaluating Complex Knowledge and Innovation Programs,“ with an emphasis on mobility and water policy areas. Until 2015, she continued as a postdoctoral researcher at Erasmus University, leading evaluation studies on an FP7 project, two local water projects from the Municipality of Rotterdam as part of a comparative study with China, and interim and final evaluations of Water Framework Haaglanden and Room for the River.
