Roderigh is a PhD chemist specializing in inorganic chemistry and works as a consultant at Ignite Group. As a consultant, he aims to assist companies and research institutions in translating their innovative ambitions into practice. Having the right tools is essential, and a subsidy is one such tool. He is eager to share his knowledge of subsidies to connect activities with promising funding opportunities at both national and European levels.

Roderigh brings extensive knowledge of chemistry and process technology to his role. This enables him to support companies, research institutions, and multidisciplinary consortia involved in energy and material transitions. He applies his expertise to large national and European projects, including Horizon Europe Collaborative Calls, INTERREG, and DEI+. He values long-term, sustainable collaborations to build comprehensive dossier knowledge and provide optimal assistance from start to finish.

Before joining Ignite Group, Roderigh studied at Eindhoven University of Technology, where he also conducted his PhD research. He initially completed a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry & Process Technology, followed by a master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry & Catalysis. He eventually earned his PhD as a physical inorganic chemist. During his PhD, he investigated biomass conversion over microporous aluminosilicates. It was found that conventional theories were inadequate to predict reactivity trends in the studied application; instead of a single descriptive factor, there was a multi-factorial dependency similar to that found in enzymatic catalysis.

In his spare time, Roderigh stays updated on chemical and process technology developments by reading relevant scientific journals. He also has a strong passion for writing, which he continues to pursue alongside his work. His scientific background, research experience, and enjoyment of writing make him eager to handle your funding applications.
