Aniëlla has experience with government work and knowledge of societal and spatial issues. She is currently involved in European subsidies, serving as the program secretary for POP3+ and the new NSP program. The Rural Development Program Netherlands 2014-2022 (POP3) and, starting in 2023, the National Strategic Plan (NSP) outline the Netherlands’ ambitions for rural development. The program promotes environmentally friendly agricultural practices while ensuring competitiveness in the sector. It also contributes to international goals related to nature, environment, and water.

In addition, Aniëlla contributes to writing various subsidy applications focused on themes such as built environment, energy, circularity, and mobility. One of these applications is the Interreg VI – Germany-Netherlands application.

Aniëlla studied Cultural Geography at the University of Groningen and obtained her Master’s degree in 2015.
