Our history
From local pioneer to a leading European player
Ignite Group started in 1997 as a local grant consultancy in Nijverdal. What began as a driven initiative to help organisations find funding has grown into a leading full-service grant partner in the Netherlands and beyond.
Acceleration and scale
In April 2021 we launched an ambitious buy-and-build strategy together with Silver Tree, a London-based private equity firm. This partnership enabled us to accelerate our growth and further strengthen our services. Between 2021 and 2026 we welcomed:
- Oktober 2021: Boonstoppel Subsidie Advies (Druten)

- Juli 2022: TRIAS (Venlo & Maastricht)

A new identity
In May 2024 we introduced our new name: Ignite Group. The new identity reflects our ambition to spark innovative ideas and guide organisations towards successfully delivered projects. At the same time, DB&P and DORUCON were fully integrated into our organisation.A new Group CEO
Since November 2025 Manuel Ebner has served as Group CEO of Ignite Group. His vision focuses on scaling the organisation, accelerating digitalisation and expanding across Europe. Under this leadership Ignite Group further strengthens the combination of human expertise and digital innovation. The focus is on professionalising our services, expanding our international network and continuing to invest in the development of our consultants.
