Eliana Santiváñez Caro studied Business Administration in her hometown of La Paz, Bolivia, graduating with the highest score of her year. In 2014, she completed her MSc in Finance and Management at Cranfield University in England. In 2022, she moved to Germany to pursue an MBA at the University of Saarland, graduating the following year and receiving the Hans-Werner-Osthoff Prize for the best MBA thesis of the academic year 2022/23.
With 12 years of experience in the financial industry, Eliana worked from 2009 to 2022 at BISA Leasing S.A., where she was responsible for the company’s liquidity and funding strategy. In June 2023, she joined Ignite Group as a working student and transitioned to a full-time role in November of that year. Initially part of the EIC team, she performed controlling tasks related to EIC projects and later expanded her work to include FZUL projects within the Controlling team. With her business expertise and organizational skills, Eliana supports clients in complying with all necessary documentation and tasks according to their specific funding programs, helping them achieve their long-term objectives and secure funding.
Outside of her professional life, Eliana is passionate about music, literature, and history. She has studied piano and lyrical singing and was part of the Philharmonic Choir of La Paz from 2019 to 2022. This experience helped her strengthen skills such as teamwork, creativity, and adaptability, which have been invaluable in her career in Germany at the Ignite Group.
