With the INDU-ZERO project, the Province of Overijssel aims to accelerate the industrialization of home sustainability efforts.
The Province of Overijssel is working in an international consortium on the Interreg INDU-ZERO project, which aims to develop an innovative factory that creates renovation packages for homes.
The renovation packages include smart solutions that generate their own energy and enhance living comfort. This includes solar panels, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
The Province of Overijssel is executing the project in collaboration with partners from six countries:
The project revolves around designing an innovative factory, which will be constructed in various European countries upon completion of the project. This will significantly boost the production of renovation packages for sustainable homes, leading to a substantial reduction in costs per house.
This project will make a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the Dutch climate agreement.
Ignite Group is managing the project on behalf of the Province of Overijssel during the project period from 2018 to 2022. The total project costs amount to 4.39 million euros.
